Satterthwaite has conducted more recent interviews on the matter. In December, he interviewed with Daily Mail. In the interview, he opened up about his struggles during the legal journey regarding the test. He states that his late mother passed in 2019, but before her death, she told him she had been involved with Jay-Z briefly. Wanda, his mother, said that this relationship with Jay-Z occurred in 1992. The relationship led to the birth of Satterhwaite.

Rymir asserts that he is not driven by the pursuit of wealth or recognition, but rather by a quest for the truth. The protracted legal dispute has weighed heavily on Satterthwaite for ten years. Meanwhile, Robert, the man his mother was involved with during that period, underwent a paternity test mandated by the court, which confirmed that he is not Rymir's biological father.

A Journey of Endurance for Rymir

The legal battle involving Satterthwaite and renowned artist Jay-Z started before the trial in 2012. Rymir expressed, “If he’s not my father, why doesn’t he just prove it? He should step into the courtroom like everyone else. I can handle rejection and embarrassment, but I cannot accept his silence. It just isn’t right.”

After all of the backlash of his claims of Jay-Z being his father with no proof, Rymir is still keeping wearing his heart on his sleeve. He claims that he still has no animosity towards Jay-Z. “I would never hate Jay-Z. I respect him for everything he’s done” Satterthwaite said. “This has been a long fight, not just for me but for my late mom and my godmother. We’ve endured slander and pain from people saying I’m after Jay-Z’s money. But this isn’t about money; it’s about the truth.”

Has Jay-Z Demonstrated Any Indication of Revealing the Truth?

Rymir has said that Jay-Z’s legal team is using technicalities to keep him from being forced to take the paternity test. He claims after filing multiple lawsuits ever since 2008, every time he is met by legal roadblocks. The courts in Pennsylvania ruled against Rymir at the time because of his age.

The celebrity faced accusations of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old. Following the emergence of these claims, Satterthwaite made a public statement regarding the situation. He stated, “If Mr. Carter truly values integrity and the safety of children, as he professes, he ought to come forward with honesty. Despite my attempts to reach out, Mr. Carter has failed to send me any correspondence to either refute or confirm these allegations, nor has he explained the actions of his lawyer in this matter.”

Despite not having received a reply from the superstar, Rymir remains determined to seek answers regarding his identity. He stated, “I might carry this mystery with me to my grave.” Meanwhile, Jay-Z and his legal representatives have maintained a notable silence on the matter.
