Cameron Diaz has made a stunning comeback to the red carpet, marking her first appearance in five years.

The 52-year-old actress was alongside her Back In Action co-star Jamie Foxx to promote their new Netflix film. Cameron stepped away from Hollywood around 10 years ago, with her last movie being the 2014 remake of Annie.

After a five-year hiatus, she graced the red carpet once again to promote her latest film. Her previous appearance dates back to 2019 when she joined Drew Barrymore and Demi Moore to celebrate Lucy Liu receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Since then, she has stayed away from the spotlight until this recent event.

Cameron looked breathtaking in a sleek black top paired with a translucent black blouse that highlighted her silhouette, complemented by high-waisted jeans. She finished off her outfit with timeless penny loafers and a stylish long black coat that added an elegant touch.

Last night in Berlin, Cameron made her highly anticipated return to the red carpet.

Reflecting on her choice to return to acting, she shared with Empire: "I realized that if I was going to step back into the film world, the only person I wanted to collaborate with was him. Honestly. There were other chances presented to me, but I kept turning them down, saying, 'No, I'm not interested, I've made my decision... Wait, Jamie asked? Jamie? Oh, I’d love to work on a film with Jamie!'"

Although she has stepped away from acting for a while, Cameron has been dedicating her time to her family.

"Avaline is the sole daily commitment I have aside from my roles as a wife and mother, which I find incredibly rewarding. I believe in keeping an open mind about the future. Am I planning to make another movie? Not at the moment, but could it happen? I really can’t say. It’s uncertain. Perhaps it’s true what they say: never say never," she remarked in 2021.

"I just can't picture myself being a mom right now, especially with my child in her first year, while spending 14 to 16 hours a day on a movie set. It's something I couldn't handle. I believe that if I had made that choice at any other point in my life, I wouldn't be the kind of mother I am today."

Cameron's latest film, helmed by Seth Gordon, tells the tale of two ex-CIA operatives who are drawn back into the world of espionage when their covert identities are revealed.
